Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CTD), in collaboration with the local authorities of Tuyên Lâm Commune, Quảng Trị Province, has launched the “Community Forest Plantation Project at Bản Kè,” planting 11,777 native trees across 10.6 hectares to restore watershed protection forests.
The one-million-hectare rice project seeks to produce high-quality, low-emission rice while restructuring the sector for greater value. It also aims to raise farmers’ incomes, ensure food security, and support Việt Nam’s commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.
The projects, including the Đầm Môn and Tu Bông new urban areas, will be developed by a joint venture between two subsidiaries of property developer Sun Group: Sun Phu Quoc Ltd. Co and Sun Ha Long Ltd. Co.
Along with investment agreements, the Ministry of Finance will lead negotiations on credit supply for both projects, aiming for completion in September for Ninh Thuận 1 and March 2026 for Ninh Thuận 2.
